About the author

Eleanor Hayes lives in Somerset and is a longstanding fan of wild garlic. She is so obsessed that she has an entire Instagram account dedicated to it – @wildgarlicenthusiast – and is aiming to be the authority on all things wild garlic.

She wrote the first edition of wild garlic recipes in 2020 as a fun project to help share basic recipes – like the ubiquitous Wild Garlic Pesto. Over the past 5 years she has evolved and expanded this edition to encompass all types of meals and to provide a bible of wild garlic cookery.

Delicious, easy and scrumptious

What a wonderful book we have lots of wild garlic near us and there is a bounty of easy scrummy recipes in the book, will definitely be trying them all this spring and summer

This book is such a great resource for one of my favourite ingredients.

The wild garlic bread is particularly delicious and the pesto recipe is now a staple – easy to freeze for when the season is over.
